Coteba was responsible for the Project Development and Construction Management Activities for retail petrol service stations in 18 European countries of one of the global leading petrochemical organizations.As Cluster Manager Benelux, I was responsible for the operations in the Benelux with a staff of in total 7 design managers, commercial managers and project engineers, managing a budget of 20 to 30 Million Euro annually. Responsibilities included defining strategies at cluster level to meet objectives; the implementation of European contracts; coordinating all in-country procurement activities; monitoring and controlling contractors, consultants, architects, lawyers and suppliers; performing regular training of management processes, standards, tools, best practices and behaviour based safety to team, contractors and client.

As works manager, project engineer and superintendent, I was responsible for the operational management of (part of) dredging and piling projects around the world, including Nigeria, Singapore, India, Qatar, Dubai, France and Belgium.
