I consider myself to be a leader. To me being a leader means being able to motivate people to work harder while encouraging them to be better than they were the day before. I personally believe leaders aren’t in charge of a group, but instead guides that provide resources, assistance, and opportunities. Leaders create and maintain connections and foster community within their groups. In order for leaders to make connections in their communities they need to be trustworthy and be actively involved or knowledgeable about the team or community they are trying to lead. Leadership to me is recognizing the needs of the community and creating the connections to be able to help guide your community/team to the accomplishment of the goal. I am productive, passionate, and punctual. Whatever I’m working on I bring passion and determination because I care about assignments that can make a difference or help people. Plus being on time and showing up for events and things I volunteered to do is one of the best soft skills I can contribute.
