I worked here for three summers during summer camp hours. I worked and supervised up to 15 children at a time aged 4 to 13. I created and conducted programs, games, activities and more with children. I assisted with AM & PM care and lice checks. I worked with children with disabilities and/or children who needed extra support. I had to asses the youth and decide what environment is best for them in situations where they need to be removed for the group. I also needed to create ways which is best for them to be integrated in group settings.

I ensured they had time indoors and outdoors to express themselves. During this role I also conducted Covid-19 screening daily towards myself and the children. I took on the role of supervisor when needed, as I was second in hand at my location.

I cared for over 16 youth aged 4 to 12 during before/after care and during full school day hours. I also assisted school aged children with online learning through the pandemic. I planned programs, activities and games for children and taught them other valuable skills.

I washed dishes, cleaned tables and kitchen/serving area. I also worked in housekeeping where I cleaned individual rooms, bathrooms, cleaned common rooms and collected laundry. I also worked as a screener for Covid-19- asked questions and took temperatures.
