As part of Northern Illinois University's Office of Undergraduate Admission, the Northern Ambassador Student Coordinator oversees the tasks of student employees within the Northern Ambassadors program. This includes scheduling, training, troubleshooting, and data collection in multiple capacities.

Through this internship, an analysis of NOAA's "Steps to Resilience" training was completed, followed by an evaluation of user responses. Using the trends observed, a literary review of existing climate action plans and adult education was conducted to determine appropriate content and learning mechanisms. The information gained from user evaluation and literary review was synthesized to create a training manual and formal recommendations for future training.
