- Draft complaints, affidavits, motions, demands, and other pleadings connected with trial preparation and conduct interrogatories with clients pursuant to discovery requests.- Participate in mediations, depositions, and other pretrial hearings on motions after drafting the deposition preparation documents, mediation statements, and relevant motions.- Recreated firm’s infrastructure allowing for document automation, billing and expenses tracking, and efficient case management which eliminated double data entry and greatly reduced the amount of paperwork.- Developed marketing strategies by incorporating client source and referral information which can be generated and delivered weekly to ensure effective resource management.- Increased firm’s efficiency through client and case management mechanism integrating data fields and automation to reduce the time spent drafting letters of representation, client letters, engagement and termination letters, records requests, preservation letters, and more.

Provide pro bono investigative and legal assistance to Kentucky prisoners with provable claims of actual innocence, under the supervision of DPA Investigators and Attorneys

• Accompany attorneys to visit and interview clients and witnesses, collect physical evidence, assist in investigative runs for records and service of subpoenas• Perform clerical duties, conduct legal research, draft memos and assist with jury trials

• Provide pro bono investigative and legal assistance to Kentucky prisoners with provable claims of actual innocence, under the supervision of DPA Investigators and Attorneys• Draft memorandums summarizing cases and investigative action taken toward developing a theory of innocence for the KIP Director• Work in teams to compile, organize, and review cases by reaching out to prior attorneys and local agencies involved in trial and appellate work to review and overturn wrongful convictions

•Train soldiers on tasks relevant to CBRNE Assistance Support Element (CASE) operations for the Homeland Response Force (HRF)•Submit and Track all CASE Medical issues within the company and track Occupational Safety and Health Administration forms•Prepare, plan, and track Platoon, Squad, and Individual level training events as well as individual training certifications for HAZMAT response •Act as Safety Sergeant, teaching, assessing and supervising the safety measures during all training events while tracking work/rest cycles for soldiers in HAZMAT suits

• Maintain all training support materials and advise the unit Commander on all Military education requirements for each of the 100+ soldiers.• Serve as liaison between Unit and Senior Officers during training meetings to advise on Unit posture and readiness• Develop and publish Unit training calendars and schedules, planning no less than 90 days from current day • Develop a 5 year plan to hit all required and requested training events• Forecast and secure training resources to include: Training sites, ammo, travel arrangements, any external support required from Civilian agencies (Fire/EMS, Federal Task force, Local Police Departments)• Assist in personal and professional development for soldier’s military and civilian careers
