Technology Project Coordinator
CurrentResponsibilities • Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.• Coordinate project budgets and other financial documents, help resolve any questions or issues.• Serve as a project liaison for Slover between the City of Norfolk and the Slover Library Foundation.• Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings.• Determine project changes and improvements.• Ensure project deadlines are met.• Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.• Assess project risks and issues; provide solutions where applicable.• Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.• Undertake other project tasks as required.Technology Innovation• Maintain knowledge of latest technology trends and opportunities; serve as the “technology translator and therapist” for exploring potential technologies and processes at Slover.• Perform support role as Slover’s IT liaison and related liaison roles as needed.• Collaborate with peer IT liaisons, City IT project managers, and others on shared initiatives and issues involving technology use by employees and the public. Administration• Create and share a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.• Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute background materials, research, and minutes to all project team members.• Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings when needed.
