When I joined Catcha my role was split between launching our regional media sales representation business CDA in Singapore and revamping the existing business CDMY; where we were in partnership with Microsoft for the sales and editorial representation of MSN in Malaysia. This meant frequent meetings with Microsoft representatives at APAC and SEA levels in order to ensure all parties were in agreement and happy with the progress being made. In addition, I was part of the senior management team that led the discussions with Microsoft regarding ongoing product development, sales strategy and market perceptions for MSN Malaysia. I was responsible for budget and P & L control for both these business units. In 2010 I was part of the management team that combined Catcha Publishing with Catcha Digital Malaysia to form Catcha Media. This business was listed on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad in July 2011.Once the listing was complete, I focussed my attentions on CDA where I was responsible for the overall strategy and business development of CDA across the SEA region. The business unit CDA was sold in March 2013.
