As part of the transition, took additional responsibility as President of Abba Medix and growth of Abba's medical LP marketplace from $50K monthly to over $1.5M monthly. CHWG is a publicly traded cannabis firm (previously CHV and now MTLC on CSE) that includes two licensed producers (Abba Medix and ISO Can Mmed) and a leading medical cannabis clinic operating since 2013 (Canada House Clinics). An RTO with MTL Cannabis was completed in two phases with the second phase closing July 28, 2023.

Accountable for group P&L and public company functions as Canada House works to complete second phase of previously announced RTO with MTL Cannabis. When RTO transaction (originally announced Aug 2021) had second and final phase completed July 28, 2023, the pubco role was assumed by MTL and role reverted to President Medical for MTL Cannabis Corp.

Assisted Europ Assistance in due diligence, acquisition and integration of GMMI, while simultaneously being CEO of CMN (another healthcare cost containment company owned by Europ Assistance). Provided strategic support to local COO and management team who doubled profitability in first 18 months after the acquisition and doubled revenues between 2008 and 2013.

Promoted by Europ Assistance from COO to CEO of CMN effective October 2007. CMN revenues quadrupled from 2004 levels. CMN continues to serve International insurers and governments with exposure to the US health care system as well as managing global expatriate populations. CMN is a healthcare cost containment & case management company, PPO, global TPA and a leading assistance company. As of 2013, CMN was rebranded as the ITPA division of Global Corporate Solutions within Europ Assistance. Was also CEO of GMMI in Florida (another cost containment company purchased) by Europ Assistance

Hired as first COO of a private healthcare cost containment firm providing case management, claims management and medical network services to International health insurers and governments with exposure to US health care. Assisted owner in successfully selling the business to a global multinational (Europ Assistance) in 2006 and was subsequently promoted to CEO. Led rapid growth, expansion of capabilities and diversification of markets and services.

Tripled membership, doubled revenues and reduced up-front costs by 88%

Hired into new role to re-locate network operations to Canada and to fix contact center operations. Saved over $14M in two years by re-negotiating network costs, improving efficiency and in-sourcing the contact center operations. Opened a 300 person contact center below budget and on schedule. Part of an executive team that executed a turn around.

Grew customer service department from 2 to 130 employees while implementing contact center, technical help desks, billing, ordering and service management functions and systems. Led customer service function through revenue growth to $200M and IPO.
