I spent 4 years with the Xerox Corporation doing organic synthesis and characterization of colorants and resins for a phase change ink.In December 2009, I completed a PhD in Coatings and Polymeric Materials at North Dakota State University under Dr. Bret Chisholm. My research involved the development of biologically active coatings for marine and biomedical applications using a combinatorial/high throughput workflow.Specialties: -Design of Experiments (DOE)-siloxane chemistry-epoxy chemistry-polyurethane/isocyanate chemistry-general techniques of organic synthesis-several polymerization techniques-polymer and coating characterization-IP strategy, and competitive IP assessmentAfter a brief post doc assignment with polyamides from renewable feedstocks I joined 3M in the Corporate Research Materials Laboratory to work on a number of coatings projects. In January 2014 I followed one of my major efforts in polyurethane technology development into our business units to experience commercialization firsthand. At the end of 2016, in an effort to broaden my technical accomplishments, I joined the 3M VHB Foam Tapes Lab to work on new product development and project management.
Listed skills include Chemistry, Polymers, Coatings, Design Of Experiments, and 20 others.
