My name is Alexander Kurowski and I am a senior at MTSU working toward an applied mathematics degree. I have always been fascinated with math and how it can be used to solve problems in life and work. My love for these led me to join various associations such as the math and robotics club. In college I pledged Gamma Sigma Phi and held multiple offices to help maintain the club. I also have a love for people; I worked at Lifetime fitness and managed a Mathnasium franchise singlehandedly. One of my proudest achievements was earning the rank of Eagle Scout in my local troop. I am eager to learn and consider myself capable of learning quickly and thoroughly. My biggest passions are sustainable energy, environmentalism, and tech breakthroughs. I believe research and technological innovation in these areas will propel the world to a new age of growth.
