In partnership with the Arts Office at the New York City Department of Education, this comprehensive program seeks to establish sustainability for theater programs in schools throughout the city, reaching over 2,500 middle and high school students.PLAYWRIGHTS OF NEW YORK (PoNY)Facilitated support to the nine past and current recipients of the PoNY fellowship, drafted newsletters and established a social media presence for the organization, conducted day-to-day administration for the organization, and managed the ongoing partnership with the Lark Play Development Center to grow and execute the "Business of Art" financial literacy program for playwrights.

Additional events included Austin & NYC Arts & Service Celebrations in 2013 & 2014.Alex's work with VAP was featured at the Theatre Communications Group Conference in 2014 alongside Paula Vogel, Stephan Wolfert and KJ Sanchez, New Museum's IDEAS CITY alongside Bryan Doerries and Adam Driver, and at American University's “Writings of War” Symposium.
