Veteran Artist Program

VAP takes artists, who are also Veterans, and partners them with existing professional artists in all disciplines of art in order to propel their talent and work into the mainstream creative arts community. Countless Artists have made brave decisions to use their gifts and talents and fight for what they considered a higher cause, one that represented something larger than themselves, and a purpose bigger than any one ideal. They joined the military and fought for their country. These Veterans have a story to tell, a song to sing, a picture to paint but may have missed out on the traditional means, timing, or youth necessary to take their art to the professional arena. Their sacrifice cannot go unheard and should not be insignificant as the Creative Arts continue to transform America. There is no greater artist than the one who has lived his/her dream. It is now time to hear what our Veterans have to say.
