This resulted in a 3-fold increase in deployment scale with little impact to our pipeline deployment time.• Owned full-stack Ruby on Rails tickets from backlog to user, which included, developing, testing and delivering both front-end and back-end code solutions on a daily basis while meeting product deadlines.• Optimized the serving of static assets with an efficient cache policy using middleware to compress certain response bodies. This reduced the amount of data sent over the network and decreased the average page load times by up to 49% on tested pages.• Conducted research comparing the merits of Factories vs Fixtures in RSpec testing, subsequently optimizing our test suite with FactoryBot to achieve higher code coverage, better maintainability, and alignment with industry standards.
