As part of the global marketing team in the Publications division of the American Chemical Society, I lead on communications projects and the development of audience growth strategies for our portfolio of products and services that support the Society's overall work to help improve the world through the transforming power of chemistry. I also oversee all external announcements and primary communications from ACS Publications.

I ran digital communications strategy and implementation for the College, which is the leading voice for emergency physicians. I began as part of their advocacy team, focused on persuasion and awareness campaigns, and over time my role expanded to include communications with ACEP members on clinical affairs, public health, and advocacy issues.I drove strategy and crafted communications that tackled the thorny and complex issues facing emergency physician members, which were exacerbated by the global pandemic. I ran campaigns that drove national conversation and legislation pertaining to emergency medicine topics like physician mental health, health insurer malpractice, and the ER boarding and crowding crisis.

I provided communications and photography services to a range of clients, which have included Association of Public Finance Professionals, Friends Committee On National Legislation, Government Finance Officers Association, National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, Rutgers University Foundation, and others.

I oversaw the Memorial Fund’s digital presence, working variously as a strategist, writer, supervisor, designer, and coder. I utilized best practices and testing to modernize their email program, including the marketing of a peer-to-peer fundraising event that grew to raise ~$700,000 over two years. I also spearheaded longer-term projects like brand redesigns, process improvements and automations, and organizational planning.

At this advocacy non-profit, founded by Vice President Al Gore, I learned to operate in a campaign-style environment and manage high-profile digital assets for civic engagement, organizational fundraising, and audience growth. I helped manage a nearly 2 million-member email list and prominent social media presence.
