Virtue is an ecommerce app integrated with Shopify, WooCommerce, and Magento, that allows stores and their customers to make charitable donations. In this role I gained holistic exposure, handling every aspect of the app— from front-end development to back-end, testing and customer interaction via Crisp chat. Over the past year, I have been integral in significant milestones.• Implemented and maintained front-end features: Including Virtue Admin, store Widgets and e-mails using a combination of Stimulus.js, Liquid, React Typescript and vanilla JS.• Integrated with WooCommerce: Broadened the app's reach and compatibility.• Created and maintained front-end and back-end unit and integration tests utilisting Cypress and Rspec.• Developed and maintained database using raw SQL for speed, while employing ActiveRecord for data integrity in a Ruby on Rails environment.• Identified a user need, subsequently developed and tested a new customer giving widget, resulting in increased donation rates through enhanced user experience.• Integrated user analytics: Adopted data-driven improvements by tracking user behaviour.• Produced app documentation: Provided detailed written and video guides, streamlining future updates and troubleshooting.
