An exciting and varied role at a small software and web development company. Within a small team I fulfil a broad number of roles which keeps life varied and exciting. Being based outside a big city, and living locally, I get a great work/life balance. This job has allowed me to broaden my skillset and gain experience working with organisations from local micro-businesses through to large multinationals as well as the public sector.

A great place to start my employment after University, I value the time I spent with Games Workshop. Whilst not being the "high flying" London based graduate scheme, upon which many of my University peers embarked, I gained valuable experience in work and life. Games Workshop is an organisation who employs a blend of loyal enthusiasts and experienced industry professionals; it fosters a strong workplace community with many staff members passionate about their employment. The entire team really care about what happens which drives them forwards to achieve. It was rare to meet a "9-5er". Already a hardworking and committed individual I feel I gained a lot of workplace skills, improved my ability to listen, learnt to care about work and how I achieved personally as well as how the team and organisation performed.Unfortunately, the role was too far removed from the technical challenges I most enjoy.
