Over the years, I have focused on the development of many software solutions ranging from processing and visualization tools for viewing historical and real-time sensor data in 4D space and time, satellite imagery distribution and satellite tasking systems, visual based navigation systems, 3D reconstruction algorithms for spacecraft and UAVs, and distributed computing systems. I also played a critical role in the evolution and definition of the OGC's Sensor Web Enablement (SWE) architecture.I am now the lead software architect for the OpenSensorHub API, the Free and Open Source Software for Geospatial (FOSS4G), that integrates sensors, actuators and robots, based on the OGC SWE architecture. I also founded and co-founded Sensiasoft and GeoRobotix where we design software that seamlessly integrate all manner of sensors, actuators and robots - whether space-based, mobile, in situ, or remote terrestrial. When I'm not busy coding or designing new software, I enjoy the time I spend at home and traveling the world with my wife and two children.
