- During the first year and a half - working as a part of a development team on a distributed system written in C++ that runs under Linux. Mostly developed part of the UI that renders highly-detailed graphics using OpenGL. Also worked on an in-memory real-time transactional database the system used.- During the last 3.5 years - architect and lead developer for a new clinet application + UI for the above system on Windows using WPF and .NET 3.5. The above system would become the server of this new client. During this time I performed the following jobs:* Defining the architecture, along with our lead architect.* Performed design and code reviews* Designed and developed a fast Direct3D based framework for highly detailed graphics for GIS display, leveraging the WPF class library and supporting data binding and other WPF facilities to allow unified development experience (both developers that develop the GIS part and developers who develop the forms use almost the same API and concepts. Team leaders can move developers between jobs with minimal training).* Trained new team-members on C# and WPF.* Last year on the job - performance analysis and performance improvements.- During my last 2 years, at the same time with the previous jobs I trained all new developers for the Server part on C++ development under Linux and on the project's core libraries.
