Alex Theodore is a ML Engineer at IBM Cognitive. Alex also runs a private consultancy based in Chicago, Illinois, for clients looking to develop, manage, and scale data science and machine learning solutions. Alex received his bachelors in Finance and Information Systems from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business. Upon graduation, Alex entered the field of data science after recognizing the growing need for AI and data-driven applications, especially within the enterprise. Alex has worked on behalf of over six Fortune 500 brands to develop machine learning solutions, generating millions in business value per annum. He has consulted both C-Level executives and local IT departments, assessing organizational capability and readiness in terms of executing AI strategy. He also has lead tip of the spear initiatives for brands looking to try out new and experimental AI solutions. Other accolades include 1st place in IBM's quarterly hackathon and 1st place in the University of London Investment Competition. Alex's other interests include financial markets, blockchain technology, Jungian Psychology, and endurance sports.
