I'm currently a 5th year Applied Physics PhD student at Stanford. I love working on experimental problems at the boundaries of physics and engineering. My current research focuses on developing chip-integrated nonlinear optical laser sources for integrated sensing applications. From my graduate work, I have developed expertise in optics and applied experimental physics, from physical simulation/modeling to nanofabrication to conducting complex lab measurements. Key areas of expertise: integrated photonics, lasers, nonlinear optics, mid-infrared, sensors, infrared/raman spectroscopy, frequency combs, free-space optics, laboratory electronics and automated measurements, modeling of linear/nonlinear optical systems, nanofabrication (ebeam/photolithography, etching, SEM)I’m also passionate about mentorship/teaching and have helped multiple undergrads apply successfully to competitive fellowships (NSF, Churchill, etc.) and grad schools.
