Profile bio

About Alfonso Medina

I've developed my career in the international sport industry, specialized in generating revenues through commercial broadcast areas for further investment back into it. I joined the exciting team at Tennis Australia in 2014, having worked previously for major sports rights holders, media owners and production companies. The variety of sports I've been fortunate enough to be involved with includes tennis, football, motor racing, ice hockey, basketball, boxing, handball, action sports, rugby or even snooker - which as a Spaniard is a bit of a rare thing. I wonder how sport and entertainment in general will be consumed come 2030. I look forward to that journey.

Listed skills include Production, Event Management, Negotiation, Ppv, and 39 others.

I had the chance to play at St Andrews in Birmingham (drawing 5-5) or go to Brighton, in February, at 2C, whilst working over two football seasons with clubs across all of England and Wales representing their media rights around the world. Witnessing Rafael Nadal play with Carlos Moya to win the Davis Cup Final against the US, in Seville, in front of 27,000 fans was a special memory. The following year we were in Bratislava, at a lovely 4,000 packed arena for the Slovakia v Croatia Final. Along the way, we coordinated over 100 Davis Cup and Fed Cup ties with tens of broadcasters around the world.
