• Plan and direct advertising policies and programs or produce collateral materials, such as posters, contests, coupons, or give-aways, to create extra interest in the purchase of a product or service for a department, an entire organization, or on an account basis.• Develop pricing strategies with the goal of maximizing the companies’ profits while ensuring the customers are satisfied. • Determine the demand for products and services, identify potential customers. • Oversee product development or monitor trends that indicate the need for new products and services.• Analyze sales statistics gathered by staff to determine sales potential and inventory requirements and monitor the preferences of customers.• Develops objectives and policies for the sales and marketing department. Plans and sets directions, coordinates the effort of department staffs towards achievement of organizational objectives.• Responsible for profit margin and overhead costs incurred for the department's operation. • Direct company sales and marketing functions• Direct and oversee the company marketing function to identify and develop new customers for products and services.• Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results.• Plan and coordinate public affairs, and communications efforts, to include public relations and community outreach.• Establish and implement short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.• Supervise the planning and development of company marketing and communications materials.• Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the company.• Oversees all the hiring, training and firing of personnel involved in Sales and Marketing. • Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate department staff.• Establishes performance goals for all sales department employees, and monitors performance on a continual basis.

• Provide desktop support for the following applications: Reuters, Smart Station, Streetscape, Rumba, FBSI, Office Suite, Outlook, E-Signal, Bontrade, Backoffice, Bloomberg, Advisor Mail, and Datatel Messenger.• Manage the following servers: Voice logger, Timestamp Server, Exchange 2003, Windows Server 2003, File/Print, Datatel Messenger, Blackberry Enterprise Server, and Symantec Backup Exec.• Add and remove users in Active Directory and reset passwords.• Research and propose new technology initiatives. • Change and manage tape drive backups of Exchange, Active Directory, and files.• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation and inventory of all technology infrastructures.
