Main tasks: Advance PNNL’s grout program supporting Washington River Protection Solutions. Also supporting the ILAW glass program in the laboratory.Activities include: development, testing and qualification of cementitious waste forms for liquid and solid wastes, corrosion testing of glass waste forms, understanding environmental control on glass waste forms in the IDF, monitoring Stage III dissolution of glass waste forms, reducing conservatism with the ion exchange process in the IDF PA, alternate corrosion testing mechanisms, and lysimeter field testing.
