I am a post graduate engineer with more than 11 years of working experience in Pakistan , Saudi Arabia & Afghanistan. While worked in civil engineering profession especially in the areas of highway design, I have been involved in providing the quality engineering design services for different small and large scale infrastructure projects . Following is the summary of my professional experience.• Technical expertise in engineering profession, especially in the areas of highway design and modelling for both urban and rural transportation projects.• Extensively worked on detailed road design projects as a geometric design engineer that includes developing of conceptual, preliminary and final design plans, detailed design of horizontal and vertical alignments, profiles, grading, typical & detailed cross sections, pavement marking, signage plan, traffic management plan.• Involved in road design project’s supporting activities such as reconnaissance surveys, alignment and feasibility studies, traffic studies, traffic management, hydrology studies, pavement design, preparation of BOQs and tender documents.• Involved in preparation of monthly progress report for both detailed road design projects & supervision projects along with supporting project managers in monitoring and summarizing project progress.• Worked as a focal person/design coordinator and maintained communication with clients, contractors and design review consultants to ensure that all projects progress, efficiently as planned.• Carried out the role of lead designer/team leader on few assigned projects to deliver the agreed outputs on time and to quality standards till final submission and approval.• Well versed with local and International design guidelines for road design such as AASHTO, NACTO, MUTCD, DMRB and ANSA
