Ali is presently works as a Civil Engineer at The Barossa Council.Ali was employed with the Town of Gawler as a Project Engineer, where he managed a wide range of projects ranging from bridges, roads to tree planting, from design phase through project management and completion. Ali also acted as a traffic engineer, managing the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) Portal, investigating traffic issues and generating Traffic Impact Statements (TIS), and installing traffic counters to measure average daily traffic.Previously, Ali was in charge of the Copper Coast Council's asset management system, GIS. In 2021, Ali enhanced asset data and information from basic physical asset information (Basic) to adequate information to perform depreciated replacement cost assessments (Core) using Tonkin's approach.Ali specialises in asset management, from establishing the degree of service to forecasting future demand, assessing condition and risk, and making decisions. Ali has developed a 5-year transport plan for the Copper Coast Council that involves resealing, road reconstruction, stormwater management, and the sealing of unsealed road within build up area.Furthermore, Ali is excellent in road and stormwater design using 12d software. He designed and oversaw the construction of many roads and stromwater projects.
