This required me to be adaptable, a fast learner and a good teacher, I feel that I succeeded in this and added some fresh ideas to the process in the short time I was there.
Resourcing Administrator
I worked as part of the In-House Resourcing Team within HR. This role spanned the entire recruitment process, from advertising new opportunities, briefing agencies, arranging Interviews and Psychometric Tests, to conducting Credit Checks and ensuring candidates Pre-Employment Screening can begin. I worked closely with a Resourcing Advisor to manage both Permanent and Contractor roles. I especially enjoyed liaising with the Hiring Managers and Candidates and get a sense of satisfaction from supporting a candidate from the application stage right through to the offer stage and seeing them start in the business. This role required attention to detail and a good team spirit, as it is a fast paced environment providing support across teams during busy periods is very important.

I worked in the Resourcing Team within the HR Department at The Co-operative Group, providing specialist resourcing services to the corporate function. The main focus of this role was to support the Resourcing Advisors and carry out the Pre-Employment Screening and Credit Checks for all candidates being interviewed for roles. This was a key role that demanded a keen eye for detail, a firm understanding of legal requirements, the business’ policy and the importance of adhering to these strictly. I really enjoyed the variety that this brought to the role as I spoke to different employers every day.

I was responsible for making sure deadlines, a fundamental part of the process, are kept to, as there are legal timescales, which must be adhered to.I demonstrated an excellent ability to manage my time effectively across these teams and escalate any issues raised from different colleagues. I worked alongside the Records Management Service to retrieve files from archives and offsite storage.
