I’m Ali, an accomplished change and transformation specialist with a history of delivering results across both public and private sectors. Well-qualified, I have an MSc in Major Programme Management from Said Business School, Oxford University and an MBA, International Business from Coventry University. I’m a Fellow of the British Academy of Management. With strong business aptitude and a genuine growth mindset, I consistently exceed expectations. I am fully conversant with best practice project management approaches and capably deliver on the most demanding of objectives. Since 2011, I’ve been a Partner at Oxon Global. I operate as Advisor to the likes of Oracle Corporation, PwC and University of Oxford on major, high stakes programmes and business development initiatives. This includes portfolio rationalisation, lean implementation, business restructures/realignments, Covid-19 related change and mega projects. During tenure I’ve been regularly sought out to work with UK and foreign government ministries (UAE, Pakistan, KSA) on bilateral trade driven programmes and projects.My ability to devise and execute winning business strategies that really add value has been central to my success. I excel at engaging with senior stakeholders and translating vision into actionable strategies and solutions. With a focus on taking organisations to the next level, I am adept at thinking critically and challenging traditional approaches. Previously I conceptualised and launched the highly successful cricket brand BoomBoom Cricket. While at the forefront of the business, I secured intellectual property rights and won international endorsements. The extremely effective business model saw me recognised as an entrepreneur internationally, with features in Financial Times and Newsweek. Alongside my change and transformation work, since 2008, I have been Assoc. Professor at Coventry University. I’m responsible for advancing the goals of the university around international partnerships while making a key contribution to teaching and learning in the areas of strategy and organisational change at postgraduate, MBA and Exec MBA level.My global perspective is strong having worked internationally across diversified sectors.
