CurrentTest Manager responsible:• Testing process improvements, automation and documentation• Security and Testing• Authored a new Privacy and Security policy for EDI prior to having any corporate standards and received an award for my efforts• Represented BCBSM as part of a 12 member Test Advisory & Support work group which is a partnership between the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association and other Blues Plans. • Enforcing HIPAA ASC X12 version 5010 government mandated standards in addition to project requirements• Enforcing Health Level Seven International Standards (HL7) in addition to project requirements• Working with other Blues Plans on a regular bases to ensure we are compliant with association mandated rules as well as government mandated ANSI X12 rules• Expertise in managing User testing, SIT testing, UAT testing, Performance testing, Volume testing, Stress testing and End to End testing• Software evaluation and selection• Managing Blue Cross Blue Shield mandated Global Certification testing, Plan to Plan testing and Licensee Change Management Process testing• Manage a team of testers across multiple projects and production base maintenance• Responsible for all EDI projects including Blue Exchange, Blue Squared and Production support. • Coordinate and oversee business units as they conduct UAT testing across multiple projects• Interview, select and onboard new testers• Resource development• Creation of Test Plans, Test Strategies, Resource Plans and Project Estimation• Managed a team of 8 test resources for the 5010 HIPAA mandated project which covered the following transactions: 837, 835, 834, 820, 270, 276, 278, 999, 277, TA1, 277CA• In addition to managing a local test team I was responsible for overseeing testing for BCN, MDSS, PGBA and IKA for several projects• Blue Exchange and Production support for the following real time transactions: 270/271 Eligibility, 276/277 Claim Status and 278/13-278/11 Referral
