Since 2018, I have served as the Supervisor of Agricultural Integration and Food Security at the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD). In this role, I lead the development and implementation of strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing food security and agricultural integration across the Arab region. I spearhead the formulation of key frameworks, including the Arab Food Security Strategy 2023–2037, ensuring alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).I manage the design and execution of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) systems, enabling accurate tracking of project progress and impact. My efforts include preparing comprehensive reports and maintaining agricultural datasets for crops, livestock, and fisheries. I also organize and deliver capacity-building programs, equipping regional agricultural professionals with advanced knowledge of value chain analysis, food security indicators, and integration strategies.A key aspect of my role involves fostering collaboration through stakeholder engagement and developing partnerships with governments, development agencies, and private sector entities. I have successfully mobilized resources, securing over $320,000 for trade facilitation projects and supporting agribusiness initiatives. Additionally, I represent AOAD in high-level regional and international dialogues, advocating for sustainable agricultural policies and resilient food systems.My leadership ensures that AOAD’s vision of sustainable agricultural development is translated into impactful actions across the Arab world.

I have extensive research experience in agricultural economics, rural development, and socio-economic analysis, gained through over two decades of academic and professional practice. My research focuses on critical areas such as food security, poverty reduction, value chain analysis, climate change impacts, and agricultural finance. I have conducted and contributed to numerous studies, including baseline surveys, policy reviews, and socio-economic impact assessments for national and regional development initiatives.In my academic career, I have supervised over 30 postgraduate research projects, including master's and Ph.D. theses, in areas such as production economics, marketing, poverty, value chain analysis, and natural resource management. My role as an external examiner spans various universities and programs, evaluating and advising on research in agricultural value chains, food security, and rural livelihoods.Notably, I have mentored researchers and postgraduate students, equipping them with advanced skills in research methodology, statistical analysis, and practical applications of economic frameworks. My commitment to research excellence is reflected in my publications in international journals, policy briefs, and technical reports that have influenced agricultural policies and development strategies.This rich background underscores my ability to lead multidisciplinary research teams and provide evidence-based insights that drive meaningful development outcomes.
