I’m a professional sustainable development expert with around 30 years of experience working on development projects, capacity building, and international cooperation joint projects. Upon completing my Bachelor’s Degree in Economics & Social Studies, I have joined the Sudanese Red Crescent Society as a Program Coordinator for Woman and development. Afterward, I have worked with the General Directorate for Woman and Family Affairs, ministry of Social development, as a Deputy Director and as project director for UNDP funded project, during which I have contributed to the implementation of the National Plan for the Advancement of Woman.After completing my Master’s Degree in Gender and Development, I have joined UNFPA funded project,titled the Woman National Training Centre, as National Director, where I have led the planning, monitoring and and evaluation of the Center annual plans. Afterward, I have worked as a part-time lecturer at the University for Medical Science and Technology, and while studying for my Ph.D. Degree at the University of Nottingham, I have worked on voluntary projects with the Sudanese Community in the UK.Subsequently, I have joined the National Population Council in Sudan, leading the development and formulation of national policies.
