The Khalifa Port and Industrial Zone (KPIZ) projecr is for the construction of an offshore seaport with online facilities and industrial zone.Responsibilities: Project management including interface management and NOC'S.Construction of roads, automated stacking cranes(ASC), main quay wall capping beam including quay crane rails, container yards, reefer rack structures, break bulk terminal, and building and facilities.

The project involves upgrading of the existing 2 lane Al Ain-Nahil roadto dual 2 lanes each direction freeway standard and generally improve the traffic safety. The works includes construction of 34 km roads, site clearing, utilities relocation (4.5 km Water Main line 1600 Dia , 17 Km Irrigation lines, 20 km Sewer, 10 km Drainage, and Protection of existing Gas lines; and sign boards), extension of 7 existing reinforced concrete box section underpasses, 2 drainage box culverts, street lighting, safety and traffic management ( including detours).

Client: Nakheel (Palm Jebal Ali)Project Name : Al Misk Development Stage 1& 2 (DWF)Estimated Cost: 385 Million DHS; The project covers an area of 200,000m2 and provides for the execution of all infrastructure activities including roads, water network, drainage, sewerage, fire fighting, district cooling, gas network, irrigation, street-lighting, irrigationpumping station, fire fighting pumping station and landscaping which were under my direct supervision.Responsibilities: Assisting the RE/PM in following all the works in respect with FIDIC.Reporting to the RE / PM day to day operations, activities and problems encountered.Following all aspects of site works related to drainage, sewerage, stormwater,roads, asphalt etc. ( including but not limited to the following stormwater manholes, gullies, 800, 600, 450. 300 Dia GRP pipes laying, 315, 250, 200, 160 Dia UPVC pipes laying.300 to 800 mm dia GRP and slotted UPVC storm water drainage pipes system and construction of catch basins , soak way chambers and gullies Reviewing and approving all shop drawings / method of statements.Preparing all written and oral reports to the RE.Attending all daily activities and field inspections including progress and site performance.Conducting progress, technical and safety meetings with the staff..Attending technical meetings and being a huge factor in resolving it.Review and approving any claims raised by the contractor.Prepare all correspondences, reports, and letters raised.Develop coherent team to achieve strong presence and recognition within the project members, consultants, subcontractors and client.Maintaining the high spirit of my staff and ensuring professionalism, yet friendly attitude and behavior towards staff.

Project Name : Apron around concourse 2 and terminal 3Estimated Cost: 190 million DHSMarch 2007- February 2008 : Position: Site AgentJoined the project as an acting site agent and achieved remarkable improvements in production, quality, and safety. Leading a staff of 5 engineers, 7 formens, and a total of 320 labours.Responsibilities: •Responsible for the quality assurance of the work being executed as per the company’s QA QC plan while fulfilling all the safety measures to avoid any fatal or minor incidents.•Coordinate with QA/QC and Site Construction Superintendents to verify and ensure that civil end facilities are being completed in accordance with current specifications and standards.•Coordinate between the HSE Manager, QA/QC Manager, Subcontractor, and the Sites Construction team to make sure that the construction organisation is implemented and that the contractor`s and subcontractors` works and performance are efficiently inspected, supervised and executed.•Laying of 1200 dia. storm water lines and construction of manholes, waterline, specially in charge for Airfield lighting for taxiways , construction of AFL manholes, laying of primary and secondary ducts fixing of centre lights, Tulip and bay marking , fixing of VDGS, High mast Fixing, laying of ELV, MV, 400Hz Lines , construction of 7m high Retaining Wall, laying of fuel line, fire line, fire hydrant. Construction of Grated Channel .•Guiding and monitoring the staff to guarantee the productivity is in accordance to daily and monthly production plans.•Conducting weekly coordination meetings with other contractors to avoid unscheduled production stoppages and to eliminate any conflicts or clashes in the working area.•Attending bi-weekly meetings with the employer,engineer, and other related contractors in order to provide programs and for solving any encountered problems on site.

Project Name : Reconstruction of North Runway at Dubai AirportEstimated Cost: 590 million DHSOctober 2005 – March 2007Position: Senior Site EngineerResponsibilities: •Diverting all existing utilities from the working area before demolishing the pavement.•Pre-cast yard management (pre -casting of electrical ,airfield manholes and etisalat JRC14, JRC12, MR4 etc, chambers.•Laying of 300 dia Fuel line and construction of associated fuel pits low points and high points.•Responsible for Embankment/ Sub grade, Sub Base, Asphalt pavement, Rigid Pavement, Lining concrete, Water proofing, excavation of tunnel using method of controlled drilling(Micro-tunneling) and blasting, shot Crete , rock bolting and lining concrete using advanced techniques . Drainage works and liaison with QA/QC Department on the quality of product and with the client so that job specification were met.•Coordinating with DCA safety and security for the access of areas to commission the work.•Demolition of 3.5 km of the Runway with heavy machinary (i.e Dozers, Breakers, and Graders).•Laying of underground services including sewer, water, and storm drainage lines. Conducting all the tests required to assure all the lines were laid as per specifications (i.e pressure test and air test).•Flexible pavement construction of 4.5 km runway and 23 taxiways using bitumen and modified polymer.•Attend site management review meetings to discuss various construction related issues and opportunities for system and execution improvements.•Attending coordination meetings with the engineer for cost proposals and and conducting site clarifications with the resident engineer.

Project Name : Apron works at North of Cargo VillageEstimated Cost: 170 million DHS Janury 2005 – October 2005Position: Senior Engineer Responsibilities:•Construction of 23 air craft parkings and VDGS system.•Constructing sewer, storm drainage, and discharge chambers.•Laying of electrical services including ETC, ELV, HV, MV, and EFSO. •Constructing manholes and pits falling in the taxiway and in apron (heavy duty and ultra heavy duty).•Construction of rigid pavement (apron concrete)•Construction of fuel hydrants and pits. Laying of 300 dia fuel line and conducting cathodic testing with AST.•Fixing of 30m high-masts with all the fiitings and textures.•Laying of airfield lighting ducting and fixing of lights in taxiways and apron. Fixing of pop-out bollards at GSE roads.

Project Name: Concourse 2 and terminal 3 earthworks and piling Estimated Cost: 820 million DHS August 2003 – January 2005Position: Site Engineer Responsibilities: •Demolition of 15 aircraft stands and relocating all the existing services.•Demolition of Existing Aprons including removal/relocation of existing underground utilities, excavation of 8.30 million metric cube of existing material, casting of 8700 piles of driven length 37.5 meters, construction of diaphragm wall over a total length of 2.9 Kms with height up to 25 meters and a dewatering system with capacity up to 2900 metric cube /hour.•Organizing the movement of all machinaries and trailors.•Excavating 8 million (meters cube) of rock material and disposing it in DM’s borrow pit.•Steel fabrication for 8500 piles.•Dewatering all the underground water due to the raise of the water table level.•Construction of 2.7 km diaphragm wall all along the excavated area.•Coordinating with the night shift for the pouring of concrete for the piles.
