I'm a Cyber Security Analyst with an insatiable desire and constant thirst for knowledge. I like to work in a challenging environment where I can learn, grow and help my teammates.Following a successful career in teaching math at different levels including math olympiads, I pivoted to cybersecurity to continue to pursue my passion of helping people in a different field. My background in problem solving and analytical thinking helped me a great deal in transitioning into cybersecurity. I have learned a lot from those who came before me and as Isaac Newton wrote in a 1675 letter, we are "standing on the shoulders of giants." My specific interests in security are log analysis, threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability analysis.Finally, I consider mentoring and helping others to make the transition into cybersecurity from all walks of life to be an important duty in addition to my other responsibilities.
