As a member of the Program Performance and Quality Unit i'm responsible for providing oversight of country-level MEL activities, ensuring the quality of the portfolio’s MEL systems, and the performance of program MEL coordinators. Also building the capacity of MEL team members and leading the implementation of learning exercises to support projects and programs to improve and amplify impact through informed design, evidence-based learning, and strategic research, communications and advocacy efforts. Leading, managing and continually improving the design and delivery of monitoring and evaluation activities, by building practices, to establish and maintain strong M&E systems and practices in Jordan that are in compliance with IRC country/regional/global strategies, guidelines and standards, encompassing both programs implemented by IRC and national organizations, ensuring strengthened capacities of implementing partners are applied in practice; Providing technical assistance to program teams and inputs into particularly the set-up, implementation and close-out stages of program management. Leading on data quality assurance, tracking, analysis, interpretation and reporting on indicator progress and achievements. Leading the implementation of assessments and research activities in Jordan aimed at generating a strong evidence base for IRC programming, as well as to inform IRC advocacy; Contributed to the greater sharing and use of data, research and learning within IRC's program sectors, allowing interventions to be responsive to needs and informed by a sound understanding of the humanitarian context. Assisting in strengthening and ensuring the quality of implementation of the IRC’s in Jordan and cross border programs and supporting in developing M&E systems and tools for in Jordan and cross border programs and providing the needed technical support for the different programs inside Jordan and Syria. Moreover, supporting the programs in developing work plans according to the grants’ M&E plans, developing the appropriate tools and databases to ensure accurate measurement of the programs’ indicators, building the capacity of research and monitoring assistants in Syria on the’ M&E subject to ensure timely and accurate routine data collection. Also supporting the programs in developing an effective documentation system to keep track of data source documents to ensure the data quality which to be analyzed to reflect on the indicators’ progress and highlight the main trends and changes. Support M&E manager in developing guidance on M&E procedures and process for the in Jordan and cross border activities. Support standardized M&E across programs. Support senior M&E Manager to define appropriate M&E methods to assess the programs’ outcomes and impact.
