The stage has been my home ever since 7th grade. As soon as I found myself in rehearsal, I knew I would never want to leave.While my experience started as an actor, and most of my hours in the theatre are as a performer, I have also doubled up on all things backstage. I've designed and produced for lighting, set, props, and sound, as well as stage management and technical direction. I know my way around a shop. Building and tearing down sets, as well as creating a brand new star drop with fiber optic cabling. I've lead teams of 10-15 people on projects, and managed budgets for shows. I also have experience in computer networking, and film production/live streaming. When I don't know how to do something, my first instinct is to reach for my resources at hand and figure it out. I like to keep myself humble by taking on new challenges and learning new skills all the time. I am passionate about keeping a healthy mental state, for both me and my coworkers, by maintaining a jovial attitude in rough circumstances.Something else to note about me, is how I view myself and my work. I think it's best described as a quote my high school director liked to repeat a lot. He constantly reminded us: "We don't have to take ourselves seriously. But we must take our work very seriously."
