As a DevOps Engineer at HRiNS, I apply my expertise in database administration, Linux system administration, and Bash scripting to automate and optimize the deployment and maintenance of HRiNS's cloud-based applications and services. I also use GitOps principles and tools to ensure version control, configuration management, and continuous integration and delivery. I have a strong background in database management, having worked as a Database Administrator at Al Taif Group and EarthLink Telecommunications for over three years. I have experience in designing, installing, configuring, tuning, and securing MySQL/MariaDB and PostgreSQL databases, as well as performing backup, recovery, and migration operations. I have also published two papers in reputable journals on data mining and mobile phone data analysis, demonstrating my ability to apply data science techniques to real-world problems. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from University of Baghdad, where I learned the fundamentals of programming, algorithms, data structures, and software engineering. I have also obtained multiple certifications from LinkedIn on Linux system engineering, Red Hat Certified Engineer exam preparation, and Ansible automation.
