My team is responsible for daily automated data acquisition from ~250 unique retailers. Technical work includes implementation of crawling and parsing of accurate product data on e-commerce sites, as well as support for existing solutions using Ruby and Javascript.I am responsible for:- Managing a cross cultural, geographically dispersed team of 9 engineers (team capacity planning, recruitment, onboarding, assessment&feedbacks, rewards management, team prof. development and career growth, time-off management, team-building, team motivation, offboarding).- Regular management (assigning tasks, monitoring implementation, results analysis).- Technical leadership and code review, solving complex cases, such as bot protections of various kinds.- Project management - developed and implemented the onboarding for a fully English-speaking team.- Participation in the strategic planning of department's future work process.- Budgeting and cost optimization - reduced cost of used virtual machines in GCP by 15%

Profitero is a platform that provides ecommerce analytics for brands.Technical work included implementation of crawling and parsing of accurate product data on e-commerce sites, as well as support for existing solutions. It was also needed to perform reverse engineering and understanding of internet technologies such as HTTP/HTTPS, API and etc.I was responsible for:- Writing high-load scripts for collecting and processing large amounts of information- Remote work with servers on Linux using console utilities and scripts- Design and development of internal tools and processes to speed up and automate work
