Level is a multiracial network of women who take real action for racial equity. Through angel investing and authentic conversations about the racial wealth gap, Level unites powerful women from various industries and backgrounds through the common goal of uplifting businesses led by Black women.

Responsible for creating a cohesive, rigorous, and meaningful experience for all incoming students at Relay. Lead and integrate the work of four different functional areas and a team of sixteen, affecting thousands of prospective students for Relay's 19 campuses and national leadership programs. Serve to guide institutional strategy and decision-making, including building and socializing a new recruitment and enrollment model.

Every day I had the privilege of leading the team that inspires the next generation of future teachers to join the world’s greatest profession.KEY ACHIEVEMENT★ Generated 800+ individual applications for 264 residency placement positions across 12 different campuses by leading a national team to engage and recruit future teachers into residency placements. ★ Managed a $400K operating budget while coordinating and collaborating with over 25 partner schools in 12 separate campuses.★ Eliminated $1M in philanthropic need through the successful implementation of a residency placement fee and partner confirmation process for the residency program.

I was accountable for spearheading and managing significant initiatives - including the very first institutional strategic plan and our institutional approach to diversity, equity, and inclusion - across the campuses and teams, while assessing new growth sites and streamlining operations.KEY ACHIEVEMENTS★ Cultivated a data-driven culture, aligned and simplified programs, and advised on equity and diversity-related initiatives. ★ Managed the steering committee towards a three-year vision and associated annual goals, in addition to overseeing the strategic planning process across the institution.

I was in charge of planning and executing programs to engage the institution’s rapidly growing alumni body strategically. KEY ACHIEVEMENTS★ Launched the organization’s first-ever alumni affairs department to track, survey, and engage the institute’s 3700+ alumni community.★ Led the institute’s first comprehensive alumni survey to a response rate of 57% that outdid the average national rate by six times.

I was responsible for building the capacity of school personnel in designated institutions while developing the overall strategic direction and organizational culture of the institutions. KEY ACHIEVEMENTS★ Collaborated with the Deans of New York and School Leadership Programs to set the vision and culture of both new and established programs in each region, thereby serving over 1K teachers and leaders.

Co-created and delivered an initial orientation experience for the founding members of the Reconstruction tutoring team that made them: prepared to become effective ambassadors of, and deliverers of, Reconstruction content; empowered to become comfortable bringing their authenticity and creativity to their students; and accountable, with a deep understanding of their responsibility to create joy, rigor, safety, and connection for and with all students.
