I currently work as the Engagement Lead for all US projects developed from Karachi, Pakistan as part of a Technology Service (.Net development) competency. This is a promotion from my previous role. I started as a Developer in the project and after 6 months became the Project Lead. The project is based on .Net Site Core for content management and Microsoft AX at back end. As a developer I worked on Site core, Payment Connector in AX, Site core and AX integration. The project is an e-Commerce site and is now live.Since February 2018, I have taken on projects for UAE-based clients. In my new role I am appointed as the Engagement Lead of .Net, Mobile, front end frameworks and Share Point related projects. Currently I am supervising multiple projects which are at different states of execution. I am the first level of escalation from onsite and my job is to make sure issues don't escalate. Examples of my UAE projects include for the Road Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai. The basic aim of this project is to replace the Inspection Process of RTA and develop a new process based on latest technologies. For this project we used Angular framework for front end and JAVA was used for writing web APIs. For workflow management we used IBM BPM with Oracle used as the database. I was a core member of the database and architecture design team as the Technical/Project Lead in this project and the developer on Angular and Database. This project has been completed and is now live. During the project I travelled to Dubai multiple times to ensure the project was completed efficiently. I also worked on a project for Dubai Police as part of its architecture and database design team to develop a web portal and mobile apps on Android and IOS platforms for this client.

My core responsibility is to lead on all business development and project management aspects of delivery for US-based clients: meeting onsite teams with clients, understanding business requirements and project planning and overseeing project delivery in order to achieve the required outcome. A new US client has been assigned to me for whom I am working as a Developer and a Team Lead. The team for this project is geographically dispersed with members from US, India and Pakistan. I am the team lead for the Pakistan group and SCRUM Master too. The project is based on a Service Oriented Architecture with MVVM pattern, using Kendo UI as front end framework with .Net C# used for back end development.

Project Lead for US-based clients, helping my team on development, technical and commercial aspects of project delivery through robust project management. One project was related to a fees repayment system developed using an ASP.NET MVC pattern. I led on this project and its development with an online Credit Card Integration. Another project was related to US Real Estate with a basic aim to calculate documentation charges. My team integrated this system with multiple third party websites to provide the costing of these documentations. This project was started from scratch and developed on an ASP.Net MVC pattern. I was responsible for its database design and project architecture. I also worked as a developer in this project as well. There was no onsite team in this project and I was in direct contact with the client throughout.

Responsible for all developmental and deliverables of my team, working on .Net technologies mainly focusing on ASP.Net with Silverlight and third party Telerik controls. The product we worked on related to the retail sector and the module I managed on the auditing of POS transactions with the system able to create new rules and different types of notifications if there is any violation of these rules.

Lead for relationship management with clients to ensure successful completion of projects. Apart from that I worked mostly on POS system performance issues. The POS system our company developed has the capability to work on both thin and thick architectures. In case of thin clients, the server is placed at a localized location in the store and all POS systems connects to it. In thick clients, both client and server resides on same machine. I worked with my team to implement the thin architecture of the POS system.During this time I travelled to Huntingdon, UK to our sister company’s Head Office to give Level 1 support to their legacy POS system, developed in classical C++.

After my graduation I joined ITIM Systems as a Software Engineer. My responsibility was to understand the product requirement and develop it in an efficient way. I started my career on .Net technologies; with my first success the development of a ticket printing module in an ASP.Net project using client side javascripting. In parallel, I worked on a Retail POS system, which was a .net Windows application to ensure device integration with the POS system.
