Ali Attari is an urban transport and environmental professional currently working as a consultant with Rebel Payments, Mobility & Insights in California. He is an active and passionate advocate of public transportation in his hometown Amman, Jordan. In Amman, Ali played a major role in Ma'an Nasel, a Jordanian public transport advocacy campaign which was responsible for the creation of the first public transportation map of Amman, and the first public transport trip planning app for Jordan.Ali is always looking for new ways to improve awareness of transport and environmental issues and regularly writes on both topics. His most recent project capitalizes on his environmental science background from UC Davis, where he collaborated with Sowt Podcasts and Friedrich Ebert Stiftung to produce twenty episodes of Mad wa Jazr, an Arabic podcast which covers the intersection of environmental issues with our daily lives.
