Having successfully co-founded and grown a nationally recognised social enterprise & charity, Social Bite, focusing on supporting the homeless community, I experienced many burnouts and deep inner disquiet. This made me curious about what it really means to have "purpose". Now, I coach people looking for more meaning, clarity and direction. I pride myself on a science-based approach combining neurobiology, cognitive behavioural coaching, the Enneagram of personality and breathwork. I work with what Carl Jung called the "shadow self" to create personal & professional freedom from unhelpful patterns for my clients through integration and radical compassion practices. I’m currently studying Internal Family Systems. Co-Founder - Social BiteSocial Bite Jan 2012 - Oct 2020Edinburgh, United KingdomI co-founded Social Bite in 2012 and grew the organisation into a national social enterprise and charity for the homeless community, with the helps of an amazing team. Social Bite operates cafes throughout Scotland that feed, support and employ those experiencing homelessness while operating as a competitive lunchtime cafe chain.We attracted the likes of George Clooney, Leonardo DiCaprio, Harry & Meghan and other A-list celebs which planted us firmly in the public eye. We commissioned academic research to evidence the need for a different policy (Housing First) which we pushed through in partnership with several other renowned charities and the Scottish Government which resulted in over 600 people being given permanent homes who'd been living on the streets for some time. Separately to that, the Social Bite Village was built to demonstrate an alternative to the temporary accommodation model by offering a dignified community environment for those facing homelessness, alongside on-site 24/7 support provided by Cyrenians. -

Wee Sleep Out supports young people all over Scotland to put on their very own sponsored Wee Sleep Out with their school or community. We provided workshops and resources throughout the year to enable this to happen and prided ourselves in arming young people with knowledge and inspiration to take action on whatever social issues they feel passionately about.

Growth ManagerSocial Bite Mar 2012 - Jan 2017Edinburgh, Livingston, Glasgow & AberdeenOpening multiple eatery sites throughout Scotland serving the business community while also feeding and employing the homeless community as a third of our workforce. During my time expanding the organisation, we opened 5 city-centre locations, 3 concession sites, a large corporate catering department and a central production kitchen spanning over Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen & Livingston. A big part of my role was recruiting, inducting, training, managing, implementing systems and developing HR processes from scratch for 100 people. Developing sales for our corporate catering department was also a huge part of this role.The most interesting part of this time, however, was meeting and learning the stories of our homeless community. This armed me with the passion to keep going and to try to affect change for people in their shoes by developing the Social Bite Academy - the programme for on boarding and supporting those employees.

I was involved in the creation and delivery of The Scottish Business Awards including recruiting the initial judging panel with some of the most highly regarded business people in Scotland, bringing the event credibility.
