Create strategic direction, coordination of services and outreach efforts for the VOWAID Foundation in order to provide high profile volunteer and networking opportunities for Active Duty Service Members, Veterans, and their Families. Veterans of War Aid Foundation (VOWAID) is a non-profit organization founded by U.S. Service Members, dedicated to assisting Veterans, their spouses, and the children of disabled veterans and Fallen Heroes by providing opportunities for financial, emotional growth and self-empowerment via volunteer experience. Provides support and executive assistance to the Regional Director- appointed by the President of the United States. Manages Senior Executive Staff of 15 Federal Officials from different Operational Divisions. Directs, coordinates and advances visits and calls from other Federal Department agencies, POTUS, FLOTUS, members of Congress, academia, research institutions, professional societies, foreign governments, state and local health department officials and public action groups. Briefs the Director daily on formal and informal inquiries, providing back up materials attained on own initiative in anticipation of need. Serves as a liaison between the Director and individuals in the immediate office and/or subordinate offices, the general public and other offices. Initiates and composes correspondence, speeches based on Director’s views as directed. Reviews and signs correspondence for the Director during the Director’s absence and ensures accuracy and consistency. Develops, implements, interprets, and advises on administrative requirements. Ensures functions hosted by the Director are well planned and coordinated, appropriate guests are invited and financial responsibilities are discharged. Develops relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders and senior staff officers from various Federal Agencies. Drafts concise and detailed reports, charts graphs and tables and provides training to staff on an as needed basis.

Assists individuals in establishing entitlement to benefits under Social Security programs. Explores and investigates circumstances around a pending claim to ensure accuracy and veracity. Interacts with the public either by face-to-face interviews or by telephone to obtain, clarify, and verify information, in an effort to analyze claims and make decisions regarding entitlement to benefits. Proficient in computer programs relevant to the job as well as data entry programs.

Assigned to the FBI RCFL as an Operation Warfighter. Successfully completed specialized training and certifications (i.e. Case Agent Investigative Review (CAIR) Program, Cellebrite’s Universal Forensic Extraction Device (UFED) in computer forensics cases tasked by various law enforcement agencies (i.e. SDPD, FBI, NCIS, District’s Attorney’s Bureau of Investigation). Performed support work associated with investigative activities and/or administrative operations. Created, maintained, and disposed of records and files in accordance with information management procedures. Manipulated automated information systems to perform duties associated with the retrieval of information from a variety of databases. Prepared reports/investigations for prosecution cases.

Cryptologic linguists monitor, transcribe, and translate intercepted target communications; perform analysis and exploitation of designated foreign communications; and install, operate, and perform preventive maintenance of intercept equipment. Following basic qualification as a Linguist (MOS 2711-2728), Marines attend a specialized course of instruction and upon completion are assigned the appropriate MOS. Secondary duties and tasks include aspects of EW/COMSEC and direction-finding operations. In addition, Marines assigned MOS 2671 receive MOJT in such MOS related requirements as power supply operation, equipment prime mover (truck) operation, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Intermediate and advanced language training is available. Prior to, or in conjunction with being promoted to staff sergeant, Marines also receive Traffic Analysis training (formal school or MOJT).
