I work on the implementation of Axiell Collections, including data migrations and configuration of systems, for a range of customers in the archives and museums cultural sector.

I primarily project manage implementations for new and upgrading clients, and also provide support, training and product demonstrations. My clients come from a diverse range of special libraries. I use my own professional experience to work closely with librarians in order to assist them in migrating their data and customising their library management systems to suit their specific needs. This includes the design of the underlying database structure as well as the front end of the OPAC.

Encouraging the 11+ to read for pleasure (and return their library books). I work self directed and manage the Library solo, including resource acquisition and budget management. I run after school comic book clubs and lunch time reading groups, Carnegie Shadowing groups and other events - including my favourite annual Harry Potter Book Night!
