Work within the drainage networks team at Atkins. Creating hydraulic models based on the existing sewer network and survey data. Software used includes: InfoNet, InfoWorks CS and MapInfo. Model updates and combining activities are also completed using InfoWorks ICM. Conducting fieldwork and interviews to support a section 19 report; Working alongside Severn Trent Water, completing field tests on the Derwent Valley aqueduct to assist with the strategic grid; completing a PDaS feasibility project on behalf of Severn Trent Water. Completing work for Severn Trent Services; Seconded into STW, completing feasibility work for AMP6 sewer capacity schemes.

Work entails: management of the bottle store, records management lead, flood reconnaissance, acting as an incident response officer during flooding events, electro fishing surveys, invertebrate surveys, diatom sampling, bathing water sampling, chemical and groundwater sampling, borehole dipping, report writing, data entry, working within a diverse team, supporting the Environmental Management Waste team, double manning.
