I take care of the math, prototyping, and game server teams at Quickspin. In close collaboration with the game producers, the math team designs the mechanics and math models for Quickspin's slot games. We pride ourselves on having innovative new features in each new game. We create playable prototypes in our in-house developed prototyping tools in Java, and playtest and iterate until we have a game that is nicely balanced statistically - but most importantly, fun to play! The server team then implements the game logic on our production servers, also in Java.Staffing, bugeting, project priorities, coordination of process and tool improvments, and all the usual management work. Game idea workshops, monitoring live game behavior, collaboration with other parts of the company including marketing and certification. And I still design one or two games a year myself.
