I was born and raised in Northeast Ohio and while I lived in the great state of Texas for nearly a decade, I eventually made it back home. Ohio has always been where my roots are and I'm happy to be raising my own children here now. While the vast majority of my professional experience is in Retail merchandising and managing, I am working towards a change of careers. I believe that the lessons I learned working in retail: customer service, time management, and employee training, will serve me well in my new pursuits. And as I work at my new career goals, I am open to continuing to work in Retail.However, my main goal is to eventually work in a Healthcare setting, specifically Women's Healthcare. This has been a dream of mine for over a decade, and now that my kids are older and I have more time to focus on my own goals, I'm enrolled in classes that will help me achieve my dream to become a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.While I complete my Associate's Degree (and look beyond to complete my Bachelor's as well), I am hoping to find a workplace that is supportive of these efforts. I hope to find a workplace that has a professional, positive environment and can help me continue to build the skills I'll need for my future careers in healthcare.
