CurrentAs a key leader at Summit Education Initiative (SEI), I play a pivotal role in driving systems-level improvements across the cradle-to-career educational continuum, ensuring that every student in Summit County has access to the resources and opportunities they need to succeed. My work spans early childhood education, K-12 readiness, and college and career success, with a focus on collaborative, data-driven strategies to achieve educational equity.Key Responsibilities:-Lead and oversee a range of initiatives aimed at improving educational outcomes, from early childhood through college and career.-Collaborate with schools, community partners, local governments, and stakeholders to develop and implement evidence-based strategies that improve student success.-Provide strategic leadership in key areas such as early childhood education, kindergarten readiness, and workforce development.-Coordinate and lead various collaborative action networks (CANs) focused on achieving shared outcomes, including but not limited to early childhood, literacy, and youth development.-Use data and research to inform decision-making and create measurable outcomes that contribute to the overall success of the initiatives.-Drive efforts to increase school and community engagement, ensuring that students, families, and educators are at the center of all initiatives.-Advocate for systemic policy and practice changes at local and regional levels to foster educational equity.-Serve as a thought partner and resource for various educational and community organizations working toward shared goals.
