Project and Program management for delivery of new global Knowledge Management strategy including delivering Global Enterprise Search solution to over 7000 lawyers in 5 separate entities (Recommind Decisiv and SharePoint 2010)Achievements include: - Implementation of service transition framework to support transition from project to BAU which was designed for this programme and was adopted globally in IT. Creation of project management tools which were incorporated into the Global Programme Management function to help increase the success of project delivery. - Working with information architects and business leads I led the creation of a global Knowledge taxonomy for the law firm, the approach taken was then used as best practice for other parts of the business including SAP implementation. The project also required the integration of over 90 data sources from around the world including mapping and normalisation where data structures differed. - Created and presented a proposal to Global COO, which was accepted, to recruit a BAU product management team, including product owner to ensure ongoing development and investment to support future changes in the firm. This framework for all new digital systems was adopted as best practice in the global firm.- Delivered global change launch planning including education and communications strategies, including creation of training materials, feedback surveys, creation of champions network, presentations at Global Partners conference.- Following successful delivery of phase 1, I initiated a full review of phase 2 development approach leading to over $500k savings in projected costs. Creation of associated business case which gained Excom approval and led the RFP process to engage the vendors and partners, including contract review and creation of detailed Statement of Works for contracts of over $1million.

Global product and project management framework design and implementation for digital finance startupAchievements include:- Instigation and completion of an audit of all active projects and creation of a comprehensive and clear management dashboard for Up and Down management reporting. - Implementation of Project Management framework to fit with the values of the organisation including communication, training and mentoring of business and IT project managers to assist with adoption.- Design and implementation of Product Management processes, to FCA satisfaction, to provide transparency, clarity and consistency to development of online loan products and customer account management portals. This was initially rolled out in the UK, but used as best practice across other businesses within the Group.- Key communications lead (‘go to’ person) for all back and front office departments to assist with understanding and delivering the necessary changes needed to deliver the Group’s strategy.

Program Management of two new B2B commercial online Platforms (Regulatory Intelligence and KYC)Achievements include:- Program rescue (for both new platforms). The vision of the organisation was to create two new IT platforms which would be used to create products and solutions so that market opportunities could be seized quickly. Both programs were suffering delays in time and increase in budget due to lack of strong project management and organisational maturity. I was responsible for taking control of the delivery and put in place achievable, clear plans and scope which IT were able to deliver and could realise revenue and return on investment as soon as possible. Once the programs were on a stable path I recruited new PMs to manage the remainder of the program with a framework to work within.- Led communication workshops with senior executives which enabled them to understand the real life challenges being faced by the organisation in delivering their vision. This led to the Business and IT working better together during the development of digital transformation.

Business Analyst/Product Owner for Private Equity management softwareAchievements include:- Creation of the design of new SaaS product, which needed to support upgrade of existing customers with ‘on premise’ solutions. This included carrying out an audit of the versions and customisations implemented to determine the scope of the new system. - Documentation of all financial posting (master data dictionary) effects in a data dictionary which was to be the foundation of the features within the software. - Delivered a working framework between onshore and offshore development teams so that the each understood their roles and responsibilities within the software development lifecycle.

Internally recruited to head up the development of a Professional Services team to deliver highly specialized technical and educational solutions in CRM (client relationship management) and information analytics. Structure and processes were implemented to improve the utilization, efficiency and profitability of the consultants. The core market of legal, tax and financial services firms demanded high quality which we strived to deliver, measure and improve by communicating with the client and building strong long term relationships. A major part of this role was to develop a communications strategy for the team which included working alongside the Global Marketing departments to carry out PR, internal communications and hard copy and online literature for the new team. Audiences included other parts of the business, competitors, existing clients, Sales teams and industry networks. This role demanded strong leadership qualities as significant changes to working practices of highly motivated and skilled staff were needed to make a difference and continue to meet the tough revenue targets. I worked with the IT Director and Marketing Director and other leaders create an approach, propose costs, look at competitors, create pricing strategies and identify organisational change needed to achieve this vision. - Provided leadership and structure for the delivery of migrations from legacy to new Search platform solutions for Tier 1 (legal, tax and banking) clients. - Worked as part of the pre-sales team securing Tier 1 enterprise search, taxonomy and business intelligence engagements focusing on delivering benefit from the integration of client and LexisNexis data.

I worked in the administrative head-office and traveled extensively to many countries Plan works in gaining knowledge about the restrictions people have to work within to bring measurable changes to children’s lives in the poorest of countries.During this role I was brought in to rescue a failing Global IT Helpdesk and define a Global Support Strategy. The role included building and managing a team providing both project and production support of IT and business related systems. To help manage projects and ensure successful implementation I developed and implemented a flexible project management framework that all corporate projects within Plan follow.
