With 20 years’ experience in policy, advocacy, and management in crisis and post-conflict settings, I currently support the UK Government as 'Civilian Challenge and Human Security Adviser' at the UK Ministry of Defence. Originally qualifying as a lawyer, my expertise encompasses management, the protection of civilians, stabilisation issues, civil-military relations, and the rule of law. I have gained extensive field experience through deployments in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mali, Haiti, Sudan, and Pakistan.
