-Work in a team environment with supplier to develop and implement best practices that emphasize defect prevention, reduction in variation and waste.-Manage Supplier Quality Management, Non-conformance tracking, PFR, Corrective and Preventive action.-Participate as a Quality Audit member to review and improve Supplier Quality Control System. -Perform on-site supplier visits for root cause analysis and verification of corrective actions.-Initiate and follow-up pFMEA in partnership with Manufacturing Engineering to ensure complete and effective root cause analysis and preventive action implementation.-Provides technical, quality and manufacturing capabilities support for the introduction of parts from new supplier.-Generates and maintains incoming inspection procedure. Trains inspector to these procedures.-Generate test protocol, monitor testing, review qualification test reports and approve parts for use in products.-Analyses incoming parts defects and drives corrective/preventive action, as necessary.-Reviews new design specifications and provide input from parts quality and manufacturability perspective.-Monitor supplier performance and report results to management. Make improvement to level up supplier performance. -Trainer for SITT (Surface Inspector Technical Training) for In-house and Supplier Inspector.
