As a third-year student majoring in Physiology at the University of Toronto, I am enthusiastic about healthcare and want to make a difference that leaves people with lasting happy memories. I want to take part in an innovative environment and give back to a community that is dedicated to healthier people and a better world.This year I had an opportunity to develop my abilities in supporting the education journey of children as a tutor for Tutor Doctor. Within this role, I worked on personalized strategies that care for a child’s unique characteristics by accounting for their individual learning strategies and hobbies. Through this, I have optimized ways to solve both personal and homework problems that interfere in the path to success of a child. By using this experience, I can tailor unique plans that exemplify compassionate communication and care for every child and administrative duty.Since April 2023, I have become the University of Toronto Naginata Club’s treasurer. In this role, I gained firsthand experience leading the office administration work needed to upkeep the club. I regularly provide support to a club of 35 on administrative registration paperwork and finances along side answering any questions on what our naginata martial arts program can offer for them. Within the work place, I would apply this experience to ensure all administrative duties run smoothly and organized while being a friendly person who echoes a dedication in bettering the health of everyone.Thank you for taking your time to review my profile.
